A Great Day to live

This is my first time, trying the whole blog thing... the picture of the pup here is my old friend Peety. We lost him last year to coyotes, but he still holds a place in our memories and in our hearts. This picture reminds me that in spite of all the stuff going on in the world, there are times when you just have to stop, breath and rest. I've come to realize that most problems don't go away, while I'm napping--dealing with them after [much] prayer and some rest, I've found that I'm able to solve them a lot faster.

  2. Awwwwh! I'll miss that old dog! Yes, just looking at the way was resting so peacefully without a worry reminds me that our Lord does want us to "come apart" or "come away" for a while and just rest in Him. It's so hard to do that in the life that we live today. BUT we must make the time - it necessary for our very spiritual survival. AND that is exactly what I am doing tonight. I have a cold and am not feeling well. So, instead of pushing the limits and going about my regular routine - I have come home, gotten ready for bed and am chilling out tonight. I am not doing a thing, but resting. Thanks for the reminder. Be blessed my brother. Will keep you lifted up in prayer as always!

    Blessings,
